Austin Miles Stowell is an American actor who has appeared in several high-profile films and is set to play a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs in the NCIS spinoff, NCIS: Origins. Stowell has played roles in Dolphin Tale and its sequel, Whiplash, and Bridge of Spies. In Dolphin Tale, he portrayed Kyle, a wounded Marine who inspires the creation of a prosthetic dolphin tail. In Whiplash, he played Ryan Connolly, a champion drummer at a music conservatory.
